This illustration is an original watercolor piece created for the Wide Eyes Editions Illustration Competition. It interprets the theme of “Celebration”. For this piece, I choose to create a vibrant, warm, and welcoming atmosphere evoking a celebration-perhaps a birthday, or the celebration of a life achievement, or merely a good excuse to get together with friends, loved ones, and community to celebrate the little and big moments of life.
